Find your flow.
Start with the fit.
Check the aquarium rim, lid opening, rear space and intake position. Fill the hang-on-back filter housing with water and prime it as directed before switching on. Never run dry.
Make the flow your own.
Use the aquarium filter’s control knob to adjust the return flow. Watch how the water moves through your setup as you make changes.
Check the return flow.
Check the return flow and intake regularly. Disconnect power before cleaning or inspecting parts. Follow the supplied media, impeller and reassembly instructions; check operation after maintenance and power interruptions.
No flow, weak flow or extra noise?
Switch off before inspecting parts. Check the working water level, priming, intake connections and any blocked media as directed by the manual. For rattling, check the mounting and impeller instructions. If the problem persists, contact us with your model and water depth.
